12/30/2020 Was Mitch McConnell Elected Fraudulently?

DISCLAIMER. An electrifying article by the small news website DCReport.org implies that McConnell's election was fraudulent. We don't know if any part of it is accurate, because its research is original. If so, it brings into doubt not only the election of Mitch McConnell, but the integrity of a controversial election-machine company, Election Systems and Software, which rivals better-known Dominion Voting Systems.

Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader from Kentucky, went into election day with an approval rating of only 39%. That was up considerably from a 2017 rate of 18%. You wouldn't expect to see him in landslide territory, would you?

And yet this Darth Vader of the Senate won reelection with 58% of the vote. It makes you wonder how he did it.

According to the article in DCReport.org, the answer is fraud. The reporter, Alison Greene, found strongly Democratic areas of Kentucky voting Republican.

In one county, Breathitt County, where the vote went 67% for McConnell, the reporter found more registered voters than residents of voting age. There were 1,599 registered Republicans versus 9,508 registered Democrats. The result in Breathitt was 67% for McConnell.

The vote tabulating company used in Kentucky, Election Systems and Software, was also in use in other elections with unexpected voting results, including the reelections of Senator Susan Collins and Lindsay Graham.

DCReport.org is a left-leaning news site that registers as "high accuracy" on Mediabiasfactcheck.com -- the second highest rating of six. For a small, independent news site, that's not bad.

What's more important is that the site may be on to something that no large media company seems to have noticed. An internet search of stories that couple "McConnell" and "fraud" produce a big fat zip about McConnell's election; they're all about McConnell's response to Donald Trump's claims of election fraud.

We'll see if the story gets picked up by more established news companies in the next few days.

Who will call first for an investigation into Kentucky's electoral integrity? Could such an investigation get buried by the government in today's radicalized political environment? What would happen if Mitch McConnell were bounced from the Senate?
